- TUCA may ascertain information from your insurance carrier for the purpose of processing your medical claim.
- TUCA restricts access to PHI to those employees, agents, representatives or third parties who provide products or services to you and who have been trained to handle PHI.
- TUCA has policies and procedures for employees, agents and representatives acting on our behalf on how to protect PHI.
- TUCA maintains physical, electronic and procedural safeguards to protect PHI.
- TUCA does not share PHI except as permitted by state and federal law.
- PHI will not be disclosed unless authorized by you or by applicable state and federal law.
- TUCA privacy policy applies to current and former patrons.
- If you have any privacy questions, please ask to speak to the TUCA Privacy Officer.
